Universal Geneve White Shadow Ultra-Slim

Here is a fully original ultra-slim Universal Geneve White Shadow from 1966. The white dial is in very fine condition, with a black script UG logo and black Roman numeral hour markers. There is slight discoloration around the center of the dial as well as around the rim around 6 - 9 o’clock. The slim black fils hands are in excellent condition. Note that due to the ultra slim profile, this watch does not have a seconds hand.
 
The very slim cushion shaped stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in fine condition, with light overall wear, perhaps most noticeable at around 7 o’clock. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed pattern and just a few small marks.
 
Inside the watch, UG’s fantastic 1-66 movement with the micro-rotor contributes to the ultra-slim profile of the watch. The 1-66 was the slimmest automatic movement in the world when it was introduced in 1966 and held that title for 37 years. The watch was fully serviced in November 2020 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
