Ulysse Nardin Automatic Chronometer

Here is an awesome, all original Ulysse Nardin Chronometer from the 1970’s. The brushed silver dial is in very good condition, with the steel UN anchor and script logo and barely any marks. It has steel bar hour markers, the double markers at the poles have black contrast down the middle. The 12 o’clock marker shows some corrosion. The steel baton hands with black contrast are in fine condition with some corrosion visible. The window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.
 
The chunky 70’s style square-ish stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, mostly shallow scratches on the watch face. It maintains the original sharp angles and appears to be unpolished. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a somewhat worn steel UN anchor medallion in its center and a few marks.
 
The original UN steel bracelet is in very fine condition, with a brushed finish and only light overall wear, including on the double fold clasp with the UN logo. It is big enough for large wrists.
 
Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s beautiful high grade N11KJ movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2020 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
This is a real time traveler piece from the 1970’s, with the imposing case and the original bracelet. It is a watch that makes a big presence on your wrist and it is a great conversation starter.
