Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref 1500

Here is a gorgeous, all original Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date from 1970. The blue sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and white lettering and barely any visible marks. It has stepped steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. The cyclops shows the manual-set date aperture at 3 o’clock. The original crystal is in fine condition, with a few minor marks.
 
The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down crown is in very fine condition with one mark at the left side above the crown the main flaw. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a few small marks and scratches.
 
The original Oyster bracelet is in fine condition, with some wear showing on a couple of the links and some stretching. It is big enough for large wrists.
 
Inside the watch, Rolex’ high grade 1570 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2020 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
