Omega Constellation Chronometer Pie Pan

Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer Pie Pan from 1972. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. A tiny spot close to the 2 o’clock hour marker is the main visible flaw of the dial. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition apart from a small crack at about 7 o’clock and a scratch at 4 o’clock. The crack does not impact the integrity of the watch. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some marks at the lugs and on the left case side. The stainless steel case back is in good condition with a crisp Geneva observatory medallion and some wear.
 
The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality.
 
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2022 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
