Omega Constellation Chronometer Day-Date
Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1969 in near mint condition. The brushed grey dial is in excellent condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem, and Constellation star and some very slight discoloration around some of the applied elements, really only visible under magnification. It has golden hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. The golden baton hands are in excellent condition, with the original lume and black contrast. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the weekday in German and the date. The date can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. Setting the date should always be done with the hands at the lower half of the dial.
The gold capped bezel is in very fine condition, with a subtle sunburst pattern and barely any visible marks. The gold capped case with the original crown and straight lugs is in very fine condition with only light wear at the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in excellent condition with barely any scratches and marks.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 751 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2020 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
The Constellation series is perhaps the best example of the timelessness of Omega’s designs, with a stylish design that still looks fresh today. This is a watch that goes well for all occasions while also being a nice investment that will only grow in value over the next decades.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
