Omega Constellation Chronometer C-shape

Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation C Shape from 1971. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and faceted steel strip hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider marker at 12 o’clock. There is a small spot to the left of center and a few nearly invisible spots around the dial. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast are in fine condition, with slight discoloration of the hour hand. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. Quick-setting the date should only be done with the hands at the lower half of the dial.
 
The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition, with a subtle sunburst pattern and some overall wear, most notable at around 9 o’clock. The stainless steel C shape case with the original crown is in very fine condition, with a radial pattern on its face and brushed sides. It shows light overall wear, mostly along the sharp edges between the face and sides. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear.
 
The original stainless steel brick bracelet is in fine condition, with a few marks mostly on the double fold clasp and light stretching. It is large enough for moderately big wrists.
 
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1011 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2021 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
The Constellation is one of the most recognizable and sought after vintage watches, and the C shape version is a beautiful part of the series. It looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
