Luxor Neptune Professional Diver 1000m

Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Luxor Neptune Professional Diver from the 1980s. The black dial is in excellent condition, with barely any marks. It has white lettering and large lume filled hour markers with differentiated shapes at the poles. The large white hands and bright orange seconds hand are lume filled for easy legibility under water. The white framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date, which should only be used with the hands at the bottom half of the dial.
 
The large and ruggedly shaped rotating stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notable around the 20 and 50 marks. The brushed stainless steel case with the original crown and pushers is in very fine condition, with some marks of wear, particularly around the crown. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with some scratches and marks and the diver logo.
 
The watch comes with the original rubber strap and buckle in very fine condition. Note that vintage diver’s watches are not suitable for actual diving!
 
Inside the watch, ETA’s venerable 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2021 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
The large size and very fine condition of this watch makes it a great watch to wear and admire on your wrist. This is a great conversation starter that is perfect for a rugged lifestyle.
