LeJour Flygraf

LeJour Flygraf

SKU: VWS-1055

Here is a fabulous and rare, all original LeJour Flygraf from 1972. The dial is in very fine condition, with a black background and block hour markers with lume stripes down the middle, bigger marker at 12 o’clock. The dial has a metal frame around the three subdials making the dial design quite unique and recognizable. Upon close inspection the frame has a small scratch on the left side and very slight degradation around the upper edge on the right side. The subdial at 9 o’clock shows the running seconds, the 3 o’clock subdial shows the chronograph minute counter and the 6 o’clock subdial shows the chronograph hour counter with distinct red and yellow markings. There is a mile-based white tachymeter scale in the copper rehaut. The white baton hour and minute hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact. The white central chronograph seconds hand has an open arrow end and is in very fine condition.

The stainless steel bezel has two parts; a fixed steel colored inner ring and a rotatable outer ring in a beautiful blue color. It is in fine condition with some wear. The very large, squarish stainless steel case with hooded lugs and the original crown and pushers is in very fine condition, with light wear, most visible on the left side. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a beautifully embossed Yema logo and light overall wear.

The blue rubber Fuerman strap is in very fine condition and looks great with the watch.

Inside the watch, the legendary Valjoux caliber 7736 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-15 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2020 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This is a very cool watch to wear on your wrist, with its aviation inspired design, large size and great condition. The LeJour version of the Flygraf, which was Yema’s export brand, is less common to find than the Yema Flygraf, and this is a great watch for a vintage collection.

Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
