IWC Vintage Dress Watch ref R1014A

Here is a gorgeous, all original IWC ref R1014A from 1973. The blue sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel IWC block logo and the script logo in white underneath. It has steel bar hour markers with white contrast stripes, double at 12 o’clock. The main flaw on the dial is a tiny mark just inside the 8 o’clock hour marker. The lance hands with white contrast are in very fine condition.
 
The cushion shaped stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and sides. It shows light overall wear, mostly around the “bezel” such at as 1 and 7 o’clock. The case back is in fine condition, with a brushed center and a few marks overall.
 
The watch comes on the original IWC Milanese stainless steel bracelet. It is in very fine condition with light overall wear and is big enough for large wrists.
 
Inside the watch, IWC’s fabulous 403 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2020 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
The fantastic dial on this watch and the original bracelet makes this a real treasure to own and wear.  This is a watch that will serve you well for many years to come, and it fits nicely into any vintage collection.
