IWC Vintage Automatic Dress Watch

Here is a fabulous, all original IWC from 1972 in a very rare reference. The silver Sigma dial is in very fine condition, with black script lettering and a marvelous and unique texture. What may look like cracks is actually a results of the forging process. The white gold baton hands with black contrast are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand in order to keep the profile very slim.
 
The ultra slim stainless steel case with the original cabochon crown and hooded lugs is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear, most noticeable a few marks on the upper lug. The stainless steel case back has a radial brushed finish and is in fine condition with a few small marks.
 
The watch has the original IWC stainless steel buckle on an after market leather strap of good quality.
 
Inside the watch, IWC’s version of the fantastic JLC 900 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2022 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
This is about as stylish a dress watch as IWC has ever made. The entire design exudes style and elegance, and the overall condition makes this a real find. This is a watch that will add to any vintage collection while growing nicely in value over the next decades.
