Hamilton Thin-o-matic

Here is a fabulous, all original Hamilton Thin-o-matic from 1965. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with steel block hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends and very few marks of wear. The baton hands are in fine condition, with the original lume intact. The window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 23:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.
 
The very thin stainless steel case is in fine condition, with the original crown and embedded lugs. It shows some overall wear both on the face and sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved anchor engraving and light overall wear.
 
The watch comes on an expandable steel bracelet.
 
Inside the watch, the fabulous Hamilton micro-rotor 629 (Buren 1322) beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2022 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
The Thin-o-matic was Hamilton dress watch line using the recently innovated micro-rotor movements, making them among the slimmest dress watches at the time. The wonderful overall condition and large size of this one makes it a great watch to wear and admire on your wrist.
