Ebel Double Eagle 18K Gold

Here is a gorgeous, all original Ebel Double Eagle watch from the 1970s. The stunning golden dial is made to look like a $20 coin and is in excellent condition, with barely any signs of wear. It has black Roman numeral hour markers and a black Ebel logo at 3 o’clock. The black stick hands are in very fine condition.
 
The solid 18K beaded bezel is in very fine condition, with very light overall wear. The solid 18K gold case with the original crown is in very fine condition, with Breguet style ribbing and slim, curved lugs. The solid 18K gold case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed finish and just a few scratches and marks.
 
The after market leather strap has the original Ebel gold plated buckle in very fine condition.
 
Inside the watch, Ebel’s 97B (AS 1525) movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2021 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
 
This is certainly a bit of watch history and it is a unique piece to own and wear. It looks fantastic on the wrist and is a watch that will make any vintage collection more special and its owner that little bit prouder.
